Robert Gresham – Bio
Robert Gresham is an experienced trial attorney at Attorney Michael Wright, where he advocates for individuals and families facing life-changing legal challenges. With over 15 years of courtroom experience, Mr. Gresham is known for his commitment to justice, his effective litigation skills, and his deep ties to the Dayton legal community.
Mr. Gresham earned his Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from Purdue University and his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School. Since being admitted to practice law in 2007, he has focused his career on protecting clients’ rights in both civil and criminal courts. His practice areas include:

Professional Associations
Robert Gresham is actively involved in a number of legal and civic organizations across Ohio. He previously served as one of the youngest elected members to the Board of Governors for the Ohio State Bar Association, where he also held the role of Chair of the Advisory Council on Diversity Issues. He currently serves as Chair of the Thurgood Marshall Law Society and is a Commissioner on the Montgomery County Public Defender Commission, where he helps oversee the quality and administration of public defense services. Mr. Gresham also served as Chair of the Dayton Bar Association’s Diversity Issues Committee, and was one of the youngest attorneys appointed as a Commissioner on the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline, where he presided over cases involving allegations of legal malpractice and professional misconduct.
Community Engagement & Public Speaking
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Gresham is a respected speaker and educator. He frequently presents on Miranda Rights and Community-Police Interactions, sharing his knowledge with community groups, educators, and students. He speaks regularly at middle schools, high schools, and universities throughout Ohio to empower young people with knowledge of their legal rights and responsibilities.
